The challenge

Ponteiro Reverso sells vintage wristwatches in Brazil: authentic pieces from brands such as Orient, Casio, Technos and Fossil, each one checked and appraised before it is listed. Every watch exists once. A standard online store treats products as interchangeable stock, but here each piece needed its own photos, its own history and enough detail for a stranger to trust it.

The business also has a second audience: people with an old watch in a drawer who want to know what it is worth. The site had to sell watches and, at the same time, bring in the next ones.

What I did

I designed the store around the watches themselves, then built it in WordPress with WooCommerce and Elementor.

  • A dark, warm look with serif type and a teal footer, so the photos of the watches stay at the center of every page.
  • A product page for every piece: SKU, brand and model, case size, strap, year and weight, a photo gallery with video, and stock that shows “1 in stock”.
  • A catalog that can be filtered by brand and by price, with 16 brands so far.
  • A “Buy on WhatsApp” button on each product, which fits one-of-a-kind pieces: the buyer talks to the seller, and the cart is still there for regular checkout.
  • A “Sell your watch” page with a free, no-obligation appraisal request, and a “Sold watches” page ready to show the history of sales.
  • Trust and measurement basics: refund and returns policy, privacy policy, a cookie banner, product structured data, search-friendly titles and descriptions, and analytics through Google Tag Manager.

The result

The store is live with more than thirty pieces, each on its own page and ready to be bought through a WhatsApp conversation. People who own a vintage watch now have a clear way to ask for an appraisal, and the Sold watches page is set up to show the shop’s track record as sales happen. New pieces are added from the regular WooCommerce panel, always with the same page structure.
